Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. And, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. we do now, in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale of, and use of, intoxicating drinks as a beverage; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Saviour.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Saviour to secure it without delay.
We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
We share our faith unashamedly and hope you find harmony in these affirmations also
Hallelujah and bless His Holy Name.
I decree and declare as written in Philippians 1:6, that I am confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in me, will carry it on to completion.
And whatever I do, whether in word or deed, I will do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, always giving thanks to the Father through him.
In Deuteronomy 28:8, It is my Lord who will send a blessing on everything I put my hands to. My Lord will bless me in all that He is giving me.
Psalms 23 assures me, that Adonai is my shepherd and I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his names’ sake. He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil; my cup overflows.
In You alone, oh Lord my God, do I put my trust.
I am guided by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. That Spirit lives in me, giving me life and life more abundantly.
In Romans 8:11, the Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. And since we are children, then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
I will always, always remember, that Romans 8:28 says, in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Praise His Holy Name.
Our God is Great And worthy to be PRAISED!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
AMEN!
Everything We See and Everything We Have Belongs to Our God
And Our God Has Given Us Authority Over Everything That Belongs to Him.
With this trust, we freely give back to God
God’s Word tells us and expects us to tithe which is ten percent of our increase to the up building of His Kingdom.
When we don’t tithe, we are robbing God of the opportunity to open the windows of heaven and pour down upon us a blessing until all needs are satisfied.
We believe tithing and giving is a privilege, and not a burden.
We don’t give out of a sense of duty, but rather out of our love for the Lord and our desire to see His kingdom advanced.
I know that by tithing, I honor Christ, fund His work, control my own state of materialism, and lay up treasures in heaven.
I know that the earth is the Lords and everything in it, the world, and all who lives in it.
When I tithe, I'm am presenting an example to others to help them to overcome their bondage to debt and materialism.
We are not imprisoned by the love of money.
My obedient 90 percent goes farther than a disobedient 100 percent of self-fulfillment.
All my friends find a deep peace, and satisfaction from honoring the Lord in this way.
We are TITHERS! We GIVE!
We love sharing what We have with God.
We will never be without.
God promises all OUR needs are met, as We and OUR FAMILIES give back to Him.
God loves a cheerful giver!
And one more thing. We will never, ever be poor.
And everything I give is coming back to me,
Pressed Down, Shaken Together and Running Over.
In Jesus Name, Amen!
